We have been writing the history of machine automation since 1962.
Our path to success started almost 60 years ago. Since then, we have introduced products which revolutionized the CNC market, firstly in Italy and then at international level
one of the first Italian companies to offer technological solutions for automation, and introduces the first electronic boards for the management of industrial machinery
The first CNC adopting “real time” technology. This is a fundamental technological leap to increase the performance of automatic machines.
being one of the first PC-based and fully-digital CNCs. ESA technology evolves towards a PC platform, with the possibility of managing axes and external devices with digital and no longer analogical Bus.
in combination with the E and ED brushless motor families. The concept of Turn Key solution is introduced: ESA presents its full package, which provides the customer with all the components, including software, necessary to carry out their projects with no further recourse to external developers or software houses. The customer can then significantly speed up the time-to-market of his projects, relying on ESA as a technological partner capable of managing the entire kinematic chain.
Through a buyout, ESA GV is taken over by Gianni Senzolo, General Manager of ESA GV, and Franco Fontana, an established business consultant, changing its name into Esautomotion. The goal is to expand significantly the turnover through heavy investments in innovation and the internationalization of activities.
Esautomotion do Brasil Seviços de Automaçao LTDA, the Brazilian branch of the Group, is established. The growing internationalization process is favored by the depth of the product range: Esautomotion offers a single CNC for all applications, including sheet metal, wood, marble, glass, transfer and general purposes
Esautomotion Trading Co, the Chinese branch of the Group, is established. The direct presence in China has a double strategic value: to get closer to local final customers and take advantage of low cost of hardware components for CNC systems.
The company starts the listing process at the AIM Italia – MAC market of Borsa Italiana. The objective is to reinforce leading position in the existing controlled niches and take advantage of the growth and diversification opportunities offered by the market
The new HQ gives ESA the possibility of organizing operations in larger spaces, improving both logistics and efficiency. The new location is the culmination of constant growth over the years and a starting point for new ambitious goals
to better support customers in the south-east European area, highly strategical for our products
Through these two branches Esautomotion expands its presence in two key markets which will be fundamental for future growth. Northern Europe and North America are strategical not only to acquire new local manufacturers but also to provide local technical assistance to Esautomotion products arriving in these areas through the import of machinery from other countries
the maximum existing expression of touch technology, modularity and full digital Ethercat communication
